AI search optimization: get named when buyers ask ChatGPT who to hire
Our generative engine optimization (GEO) service finds the questions your buyers ask AI tools, checks who gets named today, and does the work that gets you into those answers: page rewrites, schema, and mentions on the sites AI tools quote. Plans are priced to the prompts and markets you need, and cost less alongside our SEO.

How a GEO project runs
Weeks 1 to 2, audit
Prompt list, baseline results, competitor list, the 10 biggest gaps.
Months 1 to 3, foundation
Page rewrites, schema, profile cleanup, first new content.
Month 3 onward, citations
Outreach to the third-party pages AI tools cite, and ongoing content.
The problem
Your buyers are asking a chatbot, and it's answering without you
AI tools don't rank ten blue links. They write one answer, built from the sources they pull in and what they already "know" about each brand. If you're not in those sources, you're not in the answer, however well you rank on Google.
The tricky part: when Omnia tracked one buyer prompt on ChatGPT for a month in late 2026, it named 44 different brands across 26 answers. Answers move. That's why this work is measured on a fixed list of prompts every month, not on a one-off screenshot.
What we build
What our GEO service includes
Baseline audit
25 to 50 prompts your buyers would really type, run across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, with who gets named and which pages get cited
Page fixes
Service and FAQ pages rewritten to answer those questions directly, with the facts AI tools look for (prices, locations, who you serve)
Schema and entity cleanup
Organization, Service and FAQ markup, plus the same business facts on Google Business Profile, directories and social profiles
Citations
Getting you onto the roundups, review sites and industry pages that AI tools already quote
Monthly report
Same prompts, re-run, with what moved and what we're doing next
We use tracking software for the measuring. What you're paying for is the people who act on it.
How it works
How a GEO project runs
Weeks 1 to 2, audit
Prompt list, baseline results, competitor list, the 10 biggest gaps.
Months 1 to 3, foundation
Page rewrites, schema, profile cleanup, first new content.
Month 3 onward, citations

By industry
Example prompts we'd track
Dental: "best dentist for implants near me", "emergency dentist open Sunday near me"
Immigration: "licensed immigration consultant for Express Entry", "RCIC for study permit near me"
Trucking: "reliable LTL carrier Ontario to Texas", "owner-operator trucking company near me"
SaaS: "best invoicing software for small teams", "QuickBooks alternatives"
GEO vs SEO
GEO vs SEO: what changes
SEO
GEO
Goal
Rank your pages in search results
Get your business named and cited in AI answers
Measured by
Rankings and clicks
Mentions and citations on a fixed list of prompts
Main levers
Content, technical fixes, links
Answer-first pages, consistent business facts, third-party mentions
Where it shows
Google results
ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews
They overlap more than most agencies admit. AI tools often cite pages that already rank, so strong SEO is the base and GEO is the layer on top.
On-page signals
What AI tools look for on your pages
A direct answer near the top: who you serve, where, and what it costs or how pricing works
Specific facts a tool can quote, like service areas, hours, licences and years in business
The same name, address and details on your site, Google Business Profile and directories
FAQ sections written the way people phrase questions to an AI chatbot
Mentions on review sites, roundups and industry pages that AI tools already trust
Dates that show the page is kept up to date
Most small business sites miss three or four of these. That's usually where the first quick wins come from.
Pricing
How GEO pricing works
You can start with a one-time audit or go straight to a monthly plan. What changes the cost:
How many buyer prompts we track, and on which AI tools
How many cities or countries you sell in
How many pages need rewriting or creating
How much citation outreach you want each month
Whether we already run your SEO
After the free visibility check, you get a fixed quote in writing within 24 hours.

Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend us?
No, and be careful of anyone who does. Each answer is written fresh from whatever sources the tool pulls in. We promise the work and honest tracking on a fixed set of prompts.
Is this different from SEO?
It overlaps a lot, since AI tools often cite pages that already rank well. GEO adds prompt tracking, answer-style content and work on third-party sites. That's why it's cheaper with our SEO than on its own.
How long until we see changes?
There's no fixed timeline. Changes show up once AI tools pick up the updated pages, which can take several weeks. We judge it on the monthly re-run, not on one good answer.
Which AI tools do you track?
ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews by default. Claude and Copilot on request.
Do we need an llms.txt file?
It doesn't hurt and takes minutes, but it won't move the needle by itself. The pages and the citations do that.
